Teah-Wilson Jewellery opens pop-up on Columbia Road

        • Teah-Wilson Jewellery is the latest brand to open a pop-up shop on the trendy Columbia Road in Shoreditch, London.

        • The pop-up, in NumberNinetyFour, is open for four weeks, from March 31 until April 24, and showcases the latest Teah-Wilson collections in which Swarovski Crystal marries the design elements of The Masai. The Teah-Wilson designs incorporate colour, simplicity and tribal and urban elements.

The Family collection comprises architectural structures in sterling silver, silver-plate with 18 carat gold and oxidised silver; Universe uses semi-precious beads in colours including serpentine, jade, ruby and Botswana agate and finally Chakra, Teah-Wilson’s signature collection, weaves Swarovski crystal beads into arcs and curves to frame and shape the neck, wrist and ear. For summer 2011, Swarovski pearl and aurum, gold plated Swarovski crystals have been added to the collection.

The pop-up shop will also offer limited edition pieces in addition to one-off show pieces. Other jewellery designers who have had pop-up shops on Columbia Road, where a popular weekly flower market is held on Sundays, include Linnie McLarty; Ute Decker; Tomasz Donocik and Tina Lilienthal.
